Same Question!

Sketch

DSC09077I pasted this news paper cartoon clip as it really moved me.

Sometimes I want to ask God why he allows poverty, famine and injustice in the world when he could do something about it. But I am afraid he might just ask me the SAME QUESTION!

When I saw this clip I recollected a poem on “indifference” I read in school written in Hindi by Shri Mythili Sharan Gupt .I could be wrong in quoting the name of the poet with my faded memory , but the lines of the poem are  vivid.

The poem says:

Tell me how far your country spans? if we are all from different nations then whose is this world? We can perhaps divide the earth into nations by boundaries, but can we divide the sky above us in the same way? We have one sky, one ocean and one integrated world.
